Fabrica30 Reunion Festival; Fabrica Kinship Residency SS24
Type: Residency Program; Exhibition; Multidisciplinary Festival
Spring-Summer 2024
Role: Residency Coordinator and Art Director
At the end of this incredible journey, I am reminded that creativity has never been an aspiration for something distant but rooted in the values of resistance of the people we meet along the way, those who allow us to transform ourselves and become what we are. What remains of this journey is not the dream of a single voice - I am just one of many who have passed through Fabrica - but the strength of encounters of the most beautiful and inspiring people, united by the belief that the power of change is rooted in the entanglement of diversities, as a community togetherness.

This festival celebrates the vibrant community of creatives who have been part of Fabrica since its founding in 1994, as well as the exceptional artists and designers who have contributed to its legacy.
Fabrica was established by Luciano Benetton, Oliviero Toscani, and its first director Godfrey Reggio as a unique space fostering cross-cultural dialogue, interdisciplinarity, and a drive for social change. These values remain at the heart of Fabrica’s mission and are central to this festival, which brings together diverse generations of Fabrica fellows to forge new connections and inspire revolutionary ideas.
In honor of its 30th anniversary, Fabrica Research Centre opens its doors to the public with a festival featuring exhibitions, concerts, DJ sets, lectures, workshops, performances, and screenings. The event highlights the works of creatives who have been part of Fabrica’s journey from 1994 to today.
I have been involved in overseeing the development of projects created by the resident designers and artists, coordinating the cultural program in collaboration with Carlos Casas and the program’s guests, and managing the orchestration of the entire event. This included supervising teams of artists, production, and communication to ensure seamless execution.
The rich program includes: "Kinship," the exhibition closing the spring-summer 2024 residency semester; a series of lectures on design, art, gastronomy and future creative practices; performances; concerts and DJ sets; installations and community gardens; screenings of experimental films, documentaries, and animations; photography and design thinking workshops; the Fabrica Future Sessions, a series of speed-pitch panels in which Fabrica fellows from all generations present their new projects and ideas for the future. with the goal of celebrating the community energy of Fabrica;
