Our vision of reality can pass between solid and fluid states, and imagined worlds are neither artificial or natural, real or imaginary, here or elsewhere, but all at the same time.

The gates to a fluid world are opened and all is interconnected.

Here becomes elsewhere transforms Tadao Ando’s architecture into a stage where a myriad of worlds unfold, presented by the 18 international artists-in-residence at Fabrica Research Centre. Their offerings are the outcome of a six month practice in »Otherworlding«, informed by a shared experience of departure from their everyday contexts.
